Registration Package and Information
This year’s reunion in Pensacola hopes to be the largest we have had in several years. The location, the price, the included tours and seeing the Blue Angels perform should draw a great crowd. As in the past you will deal directly with the hotel for your rooms and with the Association for your reunion package. This year’s reunion will be from Sunday September 10 through Thursday September 14, 2017.
The $150.00 Registration Fee includes the following:
Register by March 31st for the Early Bird Drawing!  Eligibility for the Early Bird drawings of Four (4) Nights at the Hotel IF REGISTERED PRIOR TO MARCH 31, 2017, with both the Association and the Hotel for a minimum stay of four (4) Nights.
· Welcome Reception (Heavy Hors d’oeuvres)
· Memorial Service – Includes Transportation, City Tour and a Lunch at the famous McGuire’s Bar/Cafe.
· Naval Aviation Museum Tour with Chairs on the flight line to see the Blue Angels and Lunch at the Cubi Bar/Cafe
· Hospitality Room with beverages, pastries and “NO CHARGE” Beer and Wine.
· Grand Banquet (Plated Meal)
· Registration Fee and Free Parking
· Free Shuttle to local Night Spots with Designated Pickups and Drop-offs on Monday, September 11 6pm to 9pm    (Schedule in Hospitality Room)

Registration Instructions:
  Make your reservations Directly with The Pensacola Grand hotel, 200 East Gregory Street, Pensacola, Florida 32502 by calling (850) 433-3336 and state you are reserving a room for the USS WASP Association’s Reunion September 10th through the 14th, 2017. The Room rate we have negotiated is One Hundred and Fifteen Dollars ($115.00) plus tax for single or double occupancy. This rate will be in effect for Three (3) days prior to and Three (3) days after our reunion. Deadline for Registration is August 1, 2017. Reservation beyond this date will be dependent upon availability. Your credit card will not be charged until you settle your hotel expenses upon check-out.
Second: Fill out the Pensacola Reunion Registration Form and send the form and a Check made out to USS WASP Association in the sum amount of, $150 for each person attending, the shirt cost, and the cost of the tour.  Send the sum of all three to our Treasurer - Frank Christman - 833 Country Club Circle, Venice, Florida 34293 – 2049. Deadline for Registration is August 1, 2017.   Be sure you have indicated which Entrée and number you will be having at our Grand Banquet on the Registration Form.
Tour Description:
Enjoy a Two (2) Hour narrated Dolphin Cruise on the “Chase-N-Fins”, a converted Navy Launch, with plenty of open deck, and shaded areas to watch and photograph the local Marine life, Dolphins, and historical landmarks in the area.
